Just one more

Just 1 more picture. We forgot to take a picture of Angela's mini to blog so we did it right before we left for the airport. It's a 1977 (the year it was born) mini cooper. A classic with John Cooper's signature on it. She got in it England when she was there. It is in amazing condition! It is a blast to ride in! The driver is on the right side, it feels pretty strange to be the passenger on the left. If you see next to a mini of today it is even smaller than that. We had a great time cruising around town in it!! You get lots of looks and this little car makes people smile and stop and stare. It's great!!!

There is no title for such saddness:(

So my trip has come to an end. As you can see this is a very sad moment in our lives. What will we do without each other, I do not know. We must find a way to go on until the next visit/parrrrrtay. Hope that word comes across the way we wanted it to. Hope ya all have enjoyed my trip to North Carolina and Georgia. I keep typing "we" on the vacation part like Angela is on vacation too. We seem to be forgetting that she lives here now. lol So this is us crying outloud now. And here are some tears to go with it. This is us sing also: " Lonley, I'm so lonely, I have nobody, to call my own.................." And so it goes, and the tears keep comming and we keep singing. And we are sad. Now if you think this sound a little crazy, you need to know 2 things. #1. It's 1:00 in the morning. #2. We are just crazy like this. Bye Bye Now

Ta Da......My Masterpiece

Well, here we are with the project all done. I don't know what I will do with such a small quilt. I think we decided it would make a good bib, because if you know me at all, you know I really need one! (Angela is being a little birdie in my ear and making that sound a lot worse than it is. I'm not really THAT messy.) But anyway, the more practical thing to do with it is to give it to my daughters for Christmas for their dolly's.

Just the Girls

We are finally running out of things to say after 2 weeks of talking none stop! Seriously...............Is this possible? So here are more pictures, because a picture is worth a thousand words, right?

Happy Halloween (Early)

We got Alana this halloween house and she had a great time decorating it with her mommy and daddy. The black frosting was just about the funnest part for a 2 year old.

Ode To Jackie

Ok, so here is the "Drag ya through the grass story". This is a story told by my friend Jackie. When Jackie's mother was a little girl her sister came out of the house one day in a new pretty white dress. Jackie's mom thought she looked way to cute so she went and grabbed her sister by the hair and drug her around the yard and gave her grass stains on her new white dress. So now if you look to cute the joke is that you have to be drug through the grass so you don't look as cute anymore. Angela and I this story hilarious so now we say it to each other all the time and took pictures to prove it. I go home tomorrow and I will be sad to have my fun time with my sister end. Just for this trip though, there will be many more fun times to be had!! We are crazy like that. Hehehehe

Whistle While You Work huum huum huum

Here we are still doing our quilts. They are comming along quite nicely!! (WE think anyway.) We are going to put some homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies in the oven so we can have a snack. We are feeling like quite the Molly Homemaker's now. Like women in the 1940's. We think they did stuff like this. Look at us go!
Remember, if you think we are looking a little rough it is left over makeup and hair from yesterday and not very much sleep.
Saying of the day-
THEY SAY THE JOURNEY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE DESTINATION; THAT'S TRUE, UNLESS THE DESTINATION IS MY SISTER'S HOUSE!!

Do you see what I see?

We had lunch today at McDonalds after our run to Wal-Mart for quilting supplies. So Alana had a great visit with good ol' Ronald while we ordered. When we finished lunch Alana crawled up on Angela's lap and wanted to look in her mouth and see what she could see. She said she was looking for a chicken nugget (becasue that is what she ate for lunch). Angela had just finished her last bite of lunch and when Alana took a closer look she said "I see a cheeseburger" and smiled. We busted up!!! She was looking very intently to see what she could find in there. As you can see from the picture. All these pictures are thanks to Aunt Christina because Angela NEVER carries a camera or takes a picture. So when I get home all the pictures of Angela and Alana's life will stop. Sorry...make sure you enjoy while you can.

Mine and Her's

This is us...Quilting right now, this very minute, as we speak. The picture is just fresh off the press. Angela is making a big quilt that she started before I got here and I am making a miniture of her's. As you can see I made a boo boo already but it wasn't to bad of a fix. I got to use the new handy dandy seam ripper that the begginers quilting book said would be one of our most improtant tools. Yeah me!! I know my quilt looks small but it is getting bigger by the moment. You just wait and see. :-*More pictures will follow tomorrow as it is 1:00 am here and we are going to go to bed. Look how good Angela looks at 1:00 am. I am going to have to drag her throught the grass to change that. More on the "Drag her through the grass story" to follow. But not at 1:00 am. Sheeah

Our Day

We were on Robins Airforce Base today at the BX and this M&M guy was the. My niece loved him! Everytime we walked by she had to give him a hug. Angela and I had to jump into the fun too. We also got her Halloween costume today too. Ya don't have to plan your costume around your winter coat here so that was nice. We had to practice though. So she went outside with her mommy and daddy and then rang the doorbell. I opened it wide and she said the magic words. I gave her 2 pieces of candy I had found in the pantry but she looked and said "I want more". We had a good laugh!

Septembe in Vail Colorado

On our way to Grand Junction last month we stopped in Vail to see the colors and just enjoy the beauty. It was a blast. I got tons of great pictures (you know me and my pictures) but I couldn't us them all so here are a few.

Savannah, Georgia~Yah us!!

Ok,so on our drive back from North Carolina we stopped in Savannah. I loved it! I love history so much I could just eat it all up. Just walking up and down the streets and thinking of the people that walked those same streets so long again is amazing. The red telephone booth reminded us of England. I have a similar picture in a red phone booth is Hyde park in England. The picture by the fountain is Forsyth Square in Savannah. Anyway, I am having an amazing time but I miss my hubby and kids sooooo much. It will be nice to get home.

~Wisteria Lane~

This is Angela's new house on Wisteria Lane like in Desperate House Wives. Hehehe It so cute and so funny to walk down the street. So you might wonder what goes on inside a cute house like this. Thing's like washing the dog. Little Todd only weighs about 5 pounds so when you get him wet he just looks like a drowned rat. I thought it was hilarious!! I tried to get a close up but it didn't work. If you notice the brown around Angela by the house and up the walk it is something called Pine Straw. Kind of like mulch or bark, not dead grass. They use the pine needles that fall off the trees to landscape with. Just wanted to let you know it is supposed to be that brown.

My Trip

So right now I am in North Carolina on my wonderful 2 week vication. I flew into Georgia and then the next day we got in the car and drove to NC. We chatted the whole way and I mean the whole way. By the end of the trip Angela's little girl Alana would say "stop talking" "be quiet" "stop talking". It was so funny we had a good laugh. We are having a great time! We can never have to much fun and never get tired of each other. Thanks to my amazing husband for making this trip possible for me. He is the MAN!!

Feeling ???...

So I am having a strange day. Just staying home doing some house work, being with Brinlyn and Drake, and thinking about Thomas S. Monson's talk yesterday about change. There has just been to much of in my life this last year and I didn't want any of it. I have never experience do much loss of friends and family and now my parents have sold their house are and are moving too and I just can't seem to process it all. To much change in such a small time. Like I said, just to much...
With so much change going on around me I am wanting change too but it is all just same old to me. I feel like the one left behind. Like if something were changing for me I wouldn't be feeling so lonley. Anyway, that is today and tomorrow will be better but everyone is entitled to "One of those days" every now and then.
I am leaving for Gerogia on Saturday to see Angela and will be gone for 2 weeks so that will be some good time to reflect. I think when I get back one of my friends is going to help me do some painting and decorating projects so that will be fun. And I am in charge of our wards Super Saturday with another sister in the ward so when I get back it will be full steam ahead on that. So that is that for today. Smile, it makes you feel better right?!
