~BLACK FRIDAY~

So it all started off by getting up about 8:30 am thanksgiving morning. We had a nice Thanksgiving with Tom's parents and my Aunt Agie and my cousins Sarah and Tommy. It was my first Thanksgiving with my family gone and I was sad about that but I still had a fun day. So I went to the airport to pick up Angela and her kids at 11:30 pm. We came back to my house to drop Brecken and Tristin and then Angela, Emily, and I headed out for our night. We stared out pretty good and we had a good time. We didn't find that great of deals at most places but we had a great time. It was very long but their is no one else I would have wanted to spend the whole night with. (Well besides maybe Tom hehehe) But it was great and I loved spending the time with Angela and Emily!!

~ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

We didn't find any great deals at the mall and by the time we left we were very tired. But we still needed to go get our manicures so off we went (hoping not to fall asleep during them). So towards the end we were so tired we didn't know what do do with ourselves and we couldn't even made a decision about lunch. We ordered to go and Emily finally hit exhaustion. She was crying from being to tired. The guy in line behind us bought her an A&W mug to cheer her up. It was sad but funny. We got home at about 12:30 and didn't get to lay down until 1:30. We only slept until about 3:00 pm (which wasn't enough sleep) and the kids kept interrupting us. Angela left to got up north and I tried to stay awake but at about 6:30 pm I couldn't keep my eyes open. I went to bed and slept all night and didn't get up until 9:30am this morning (saturday). It was so fun and I am glad we did it!!

~DRAKE~

So Drake loves this piano we set up. Look at those long fingers on the keyboard. A natural. hehehe We were at the mall and they had this "tiny toilet" and so Drake wanted to sit on it and he went poopie. The potty training isn't going well and he doesn't want to do it so I was pretty excited!! Now all I need is a "tiny toilet" at home...hmmmmmm Not going to happen. Oh well, we will figure the potty training out sooner or later. Hopefully sooner than later!!

~KELCEY AND ME~

I went to lunch the other day with Kelcey before she heads back to Arkansas. She is my good friend Lois's daughter. It was nice to have a visit and I hadn't been to Botana Junction forever!!

I was trying to take some pictures of Drake by the Christmas Tree and I made him stop switching the tree lights on and off so this is what I got. You can actually see the tears. I am such a mean mommy. Just kidding, of course I am the best mommy in the whole world!

~MY IN-LAWS~

My father and mother-in-law were down to our house tonight and I snapped these silly shots. They found some old family pictures they we were all pretty excited about and has a good time looking at.

Drake loves the horse and loves to get on them. Tom put him on Rosa and called me out of the house to come take a picture. I am really glad I figured out how to get these pictures out of the camera because I LOVE them!!

~MY LITTLE CUPCAKE~

These pictures were on in internal memory of my camera and I didn't know how to get them out. So tonight I got the book out and figured it out. Yeah me. So these pictures were in October. My mom came out for the day and we made Halloween cupcakes with the kids. Brinlyn and Drake had a great time!! We decided to get out the cupcake tree's and set it up all pretty and the kids could hardly stand the excitement. We went and got Hunter and Macazlyn from the bus and Brinlyn and Drake were very proud to show off the work for the day. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to the kids and my mom for a great day and a great memory!!

Not much going on today. We went to lunch at Taco Bell/Long John Silver and Brinlyn found these hat's so we had to have a Pirate moment.

~CHRISTMAS TREE O CHRISTMAS TREE~

Yes, we did put up our Christmas tree last night. I always do it early. It is so much work to put all the decorations up that I want to enjoy it as long as I can. The kids always love it to and since we live in the country I don't have to worry about the neighbors thinking we are strange. Well, my father-in-law things it's strange but that is ok. I can live with that. Anyway, Vanessa and Ben came and helped. It was really nice to have them here. I think most years my parents have come and helped us do the tree and they are gone this year. So that was sad. The reality that they are not going to be here for the holidays is really setting in:( I wanted to do one of my theme tree's this year but the kids said they wanted an everything tree so everything it is. We made homemade pizza and ginger snap cookies while we did the tree and listened to my favorite Christmas CD. Which is Martina McBride's Christmas. I love it. It is my all time favorite. It was all very Christmasie. You have to take note of Ben's apron. It is one of the kids aprons. We had a god laugh when he put it on. We had a nice evening!! The tree isn't quite done, we still have to tinsel but I will take a finished pic once the tree and decorations are done.

~SNOW DAY~

We had our first snow that really stayed last week. Drake calls it "a big snow". They were very excited to get out there and play in it. Drake was just around 18 months last winter so he doesn't remember snow and was pretty amazed. He rode his bike the way up to Poppy and Grammy's house and back. Kinda hard in the snow but he did it. They went and got the sleds out to go sledding up at the house too. And of course Brinlyn was all over the Hot Chocolate thing. They thought it was great!!

~SILLY STAY AT HOME DAY~

Last week on one of our stay at home days Brinlyn decided she wanted to dress up and Drake of course wanted to do it too. Anything the big kids do he watches and follows. So he wore Snow White. It was just a silly day!!

~MODONNA CONCERT~

Tom and I went to the Madonna concert last week and had a blast. It was a fun concert! She did a lot of old songs and some new ones. She has never been to Denver and her concert sold out in like an hour so they added another night(we went on the first night). Good times! Tom has some Police buddies that went with their wives too, so he has a good time also.

Ok, so my friend Carie Fordham does the vinyl like I said in a previous post and she did these stick people for me. It turned out SO CUTE and I love them! I have had so many comments on it and I just put it on. We also did these blocks for our Super Saturday and I had her make me some extra vinyl so I could do this with it. It turned out really cute! ~SUPER SATURDAY~

I had our ward Super Saturday this weekend and my friend from Brighton came down and did vinyl stuff for us. Her website is www.lineuponlinevinyl.com if you want to check it out. It was great and we had a good turnout. Thanks Carie!!! So the reason she is standing on a chair is because we are always the tall and the short. She and her husband are known as our short friends and we are know as their tall friends. They are 5"1 and 5"2 or something like that and Tom and I are 5"11 and 6"7. It is pretty funny when we are together hangin out since we are on the opposite ends of the stick. So we decided to switch it up. She stood on a chair so she could be the taller one for once. And note even on a chair she isn't THAT much taller than me.

I really like this picture of my dad and macazlyn. And the girls were poseing in the pool which is so "my girls". The one of Brinlyn is quite a hoot. It is very funny when all the kids put on their swim masks. Their faces get all scrunched up and stuff.

My parents were out at my house one day and we decided to go check on the chickens. The kids really like to check the eggs and TRY to catch them. So it was fun to watch and quite funny at times.
